Isn't just beauuuutiful?!? I can't believe it took me so long to get this polish! I used two coats of polish over a clear base coat, and a clear top coat. It went on super smooth and no need to dig for glitter, they're plentiful. It's such a beautiful polish! I'm so mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I did not want to take off this polish. Seriously, if you don't have this polish in your stash yet, BUY IT! haha Yeah I'm kinda pushy when I love it.

Anyhoo just to further tell you to get this polish here is the link to Lucky 13 Lacquer's website, and of course while you're there check out Kyoti's other fantastic polishes.

Until next time.

Review: "Tail Scales" from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics

Hello Readers:

Today, I have a lovely polish from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics' In The Grotto collection, inspired by the Little Mermaid. The whole collection is beautiful, but the one that jumped out at me the most is today's polish: "Tail Scales".

"Tail Scales" is a sheer turquoise jade jelly polish with a purple shimmery shift. I had some trouble capturing the purple shift, but you do get a glimpse of it.

Isn't it just lovely?!? I love the shade of green, and the purple shimmer is beautiful! It is sheer, so it is best if used over some undies. I was curious if I could build up opacity on its own, so my photos show three coats over a clear base, and a clear top coat (the minor bubbling in some photos is from my top coat not the polish itself). The opacity does build but not enough to wear on its own as you can still see my nails beneath the polish.

Such a beautiful polish! I can't wait to try it over different colors to see the effect this polish gives. If you'd like to add this polish to your collection, or would like to check out the rest of Carpe Noctem Cosmetics wonderful polishes head over to her Etsy shop.

Until next time.

Review and Nail Art: "Soccer Mom" from Colors by Llarowe

Hello Readers:

I have a beautiful polish to show you today, plus a little nail art I did to give it a little extra somethin' somethin'. Today's polish is from Colors by Llarowe's Summer 2014 collection.

"Soccer Mom" is a greyed baby blue crelly polish with holo micro glitter.

Isn't this a GORGEOUS polish?!?! I love this shade of blue, and the sparkle is beautiful! I had no application issues at all. I used two coats of polish over a clear base coat, and no top coat in the above photos as I was going to add some nail bling (shown in photos below).

Once again I used my little nail gemstones to give a little bling to my mani, and I love it! I don't usually like yellow but I think this golden (citrine colored) gemstones went great with "Soccer Mom". Also this mani had great wear time. I don't usually wear a polish long enough to comment on wear time, but due to time restraints and me feeling a little under the weather I wore this mani for four (or maybe it was five) days, and I only had minor chipping on a couple of tips.

If you would like to purchase this polish you can find it at Llarowe.com, also if you are interested in nail gemstones I bought mine from Bundle Monster.

Until next time.

Review & Nail Art: "One Lifetime With You" from Dollish Polish

Hello Readers:

Today I've got another polish from Dollish Polish's Ultimate Fandom collection in collaboration with Accio Lacquer. The polish I will be reviewing today is inspired by the Lord of the Rings fandom, specifically the love between Aragorn and Arwen.

"One Lifetime With You" is a silver toned lilac shimmer based polish with hot pink flash, micro glitters in violet, periwinkle, lavender and some holo micro flakes.

Isn't it beautiful?!?!? I'm a sucker for purple, but I love lilacs so this makes me love it even more! Everything goes on smooth and easy. I wore two coats of polish over a clear base, and no top coat as I wanted to do a little extra with this mani. This polish is beautiful, but I wanted to try out some nail gemstones that I had just purchased so I added a little bling to my mani.

This was my first time using nail art gemstones, and boy I was it easy to do! Why didn't I try this out sooner?!? I love how this turned out, and will definitely be using them in the future. I love this mani even more with the little extra bling!

If you would like to buy this polish you can do so at Dollish Polish's website. If you'd like to get some of your own nail gemstones I got mine from Bundle Monster (though I'm sure there are plenty of places to get them).

Until next time.

Review: "Look At The Flowers Lizzie" from Dollish Polish

Hello Readers:

I have an AWESOME polish from Dollish Polish's collaboration with Accio Lacquer aka the Ultimate Fandom Collection. Today's polish from that collection is inspired by the fandom: The Walking Dead.

"Look At The Flowers Lizzie" is a yellow toned olive green crelly with varying sizes of matte glitters in white, pink, yellow, green, black, and coral, and has a tiny green micro-glitter for a hint of shimmer.

Outdoor Shots

I'm still new to this fandom, but even if I wasn't a fan of the show I would still buy this polish. It is so lovely! The color combinations are wonderful! I do think this would be best over an olive colored base to really have good opacity, but it's pretty good by itself too. The photos show three coats of polish over a clear base, and a clear top coat. I had no application issues. The glitters were plentiful, I didn't have to dig for the big ones (though I did have the bottle upside down while I was prepping my nails). Love it!

If you would like to own this polish please check out Dollish Polish's website, and be on the lookout for Part 2 of the Ultimate Fandom Collection. I know I will be :)

Until next time.
