Review: "What Happens In Vegas...Ends Up On Instagram" from Girly Bits Cosmetics

Hello Readers:

Gosh I had a busy weekend, then had to go back to the clinic as the technician didn't take enough blood to run all the tests they needed. Boo for getting poked more than necessary! Anyhoo, on the gorgeousness that is the polish I'm showing off tonight!

"What Happens In Vegas... Ends Up On Instagram" was created exclusively for the event Girly Bits Cosmetics co-hosted with KBShimmer during Cosmoprof in Las Vegas earlier this year.

"What Happens In Vegas... Ends Up On Instagram" is a bright raspberry-fushia scattered holo with flashes of purple and bright pink microglitter.

Isn't it just GLORIOUS?!?! This berry polish is everything I hoped it was and more. This is definitely one of those polishes where I couldn't stop staring at my nails. It made me smile every time I looked at it. It went on very easy and smooth, no application issues. I used two coats of polish over a clear base, and a clear top coat.

 

The microglitter shone great along with the holo, but didn't translate well to the photos so I took some photos in the shade where you could see the microglitter a lot better. Unfortunately, this polish is no longer available but Girly Bits Cosmetics has many great polishes to choose from, so don't hesitate to go check out their website.

Review: "Ultra Holo Purple" from Above the Curve

Hello Readers:

The day got away from me today, heck the week just flew by. Luckily, I've put a good dent into my Christmas shopping. I know that's taboo for all those last minute shoppers but I tend to start mid-late summer so I can space things out moneywise. I've only got 5 more people to buy for and the furbabies then I'll be good to go. Woo! Also, my husband has decided he wanted to host a Thanksgiving dinner at the house for some of his troops. Yikes. I've never made a turkey before. EVER, since it's just me and the hubby and when we go to someone's house I'm usually the dessert girl (pies, cheesecake, cookies, etc). So now I have to plan for that, any tips or suggestions are totally welcome.

Okay, now that the non polish related rant is over I'll get to what the main focus is: BEAUTIFUL polish! Today I have a polish from Above the Curve's Ultra Holo collection.

Tonight is "Ultra Holo Purple" a lovely purple holo polish (as the name suggests).

 

So much holo goodness in one polish! This collection never ceases to delight me every time I wear one. It applied smooth and easy. I used two coats of polish over a clear base, no top coat. One day the rest of the Ultra Holo Collection will be mine! OH! Did I mention that I have found that all of the Ultra Holo Collection has great wear time! I get at least 4 days of wear time before chipping kicks in (that's with a top coat by the way).

Review: "Good Life" from Enchanted Polish

Hello Readers:

I'm sorry this post didn't get put up yesterday, as I said on my FB page, my internet crapped out on me yesterday so I was unable to get this up. Today's post feature's a polish from Enchanted Polish's Go West Collection.

"Good Life" is a bronze to gold duo chrome holo with red shimmer.

I know this kind of shade isn't everyone's cup of tea, but boy is this polish enchanting (no pun intended haha)! I think this is such a great shade for autumn, and I think I'll be wearing it to the hubby's office xmas party this year (if it ends up going with my outfit). "Good Life" went on beautifully, no application issues. I used two coats of polish over a clear base, no top coat.

Review: "Ultra Holo Nude" from Above The Curve

Tomorrow I'm off to the doctor's again, but as for today I have another polish from Above the Curve's Ultra Holo collection. "Ultra Holo Nude" is a nude polish with a heavy linear holo.

So much holo goodness in one bottle! I adore Above the Curve's Ultra Holo Collection! They recently added new colors to it, so I will have to pick them up soon. "Ultra Holo Nude" went on super smooth. I used two coats of polish over a clear base coat, and a clear top coat. It also has great wear time! I didn't start getting chips until day 4 or 5 which is great in my books since I'm rough on my hands.

 

I honestly can't say enough good things about the Ultra Holo Collection from Above the Curve, so definitely go check out their Etsy Page when you have the time to browse. Above the Curve also just recently came out with a Harry Potter inspired collection (mine should be here soon Yay!). Also, don't forget that a portion of each bottle sold goes to charity! ^_^
